  • Baby Signs

Meet other moms in a supportive environment and learn the tools to jumpstart your baby’s intellectual and emotional development.

Babies have a lot to say even before they can actually speak. With the Baby Signs Program®, babies and toddlers can communicate using simple, easy-to-learn signs – what they see, what they need and even how they feel.

The Sign, Say & Play® curriculum is a 6-week program of carefully crafted sequenced sessions developed especially for parents and babies. By embedding the learning of signs in activities that promote cognitive, social, language, literacy, and sensory-motor development more generally, we teach you specific ways to provide the support in these areas that your babies need to make the most of their critical first three years.

Over two decades of scientific research, much of it funded by the National Institutes of Health, has shown that the Baby Signs® Program:

    • Helps babies learn to talk
    • Reveals how smart babies are
    • Boosts babies’ self-confidence
    • Allows babies to share their worlds
    • Strengthens the parent/infant bond
    • Jumpstarts intellectual development
    • Promotes positive emotional development
    • Reduces frustration for parent and child while building trust

This series is great for mothers with babies ages 6 to 18 months, new moms, and parents looking for a fun, educational, and engaging activity to do with their child.

    $180 for members, $240 for non-members

Next series begins weekly on Mondays 8/14–9/25 at 1:30-2:30 pm

    Presented by Brittiney George

  • Infant Massage

Meet other moms in a supportive environment and learn tools to reduce stress for you and your baby.

Infant Massage strengthens the bond and begins the dialogue of a healthy touch with your child. Parents massage their own babies and learn different strokes each week that aid in the relief of colic/gas discomfort and muscle tension, while promoting bonding and better sleep. We provide you with educational materials and time for discussion to support you as a parent in each class.

Take home the gift of relaxation for both you and your baby!

By the end of this series, you will:

    • Be able to differentiate between soothing and stimulating strokes.
    • Know the difference between a yes and no cue to touch and its impact on bonding.
    • Have strong base of knowledge of strokes, holds, and movements you can use for soothing, relief, and relaxation for your baby.

This series is great for newborns and infants (birth-to pre-crawling), first-time moms, babies with touch sensitivities or tummy troubles, moms suffering from postpartum depression, and moms looking to build community with other moms.

    $180 for members, $240 for non-members

Next series begins weekly on Mondays 8/14–9/25 at 11:30am-1:00 pm

  • Clean Home, Clean Body

Why is pregnancy the most important time to reduce toxic exposures? Chemical exposure can harm fertility and interfere with the critical development happening in pregnancy. Reducing toxin exposures before and during your pregnancy is an important way you can improve your own health and contribute to the lifelong health of your baby. Unfortunately, chemicals in the environment and in everyday personal care products are not well regulated for safety, putting the most vulnerable people in the population at risk (that baby growing in your belly is one of them!) It becomes our responsibility to be educated and make smart choices to keep our families and ourselves safe.

Come learn what some of the most harmful exposures are for a developing baby (you’ll be shocked how common they are), as well as lots of tools to avoid exposures and make better choices. Learn how to have a truly clean home and clean body. It’s never too late to start!
